What happens to the details you send from this site. In readable English, not legalese.

This page describes how the site actually works. It has not yet been through a legal review.

01

Who handles the data

Data controller: Andrea Pessot. For any request, use the contact form on this site.

02

What is collected

Only what you type into the form: name, work email, company or site, budget range, your message and — depending on the page you write from — the service, the platforms, the problem or the kind of support you are after.

There is one hidden field: a spam trap that has to stay empty and that collects nothing about you. That field and the checks on what you submit are the only anti-spam measures. No CAPTCHA, and your IP address is not recorded.

03

Why it is collected

To reply to you and, if we decide to work together, to run the engagement. Not to build a profile, and not for advertising.

04

Where it goes

The form is handled by a script on this site. It does not go through an external form service and it is not written to any database: the message is not kept on the site's server.

From there it leaves as email, over an encrypted connection, to Andrea's work mailbox, which runs on Google Workspace. Google therefore handles delivering the message and keeping it in that mailbox. The address you type into the form is used as the reply address.

The site is hosted on Hostinger, which provides the server the script runs on. Nothing is sold, shared or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

05

How long it is kept

Contact enquiries are kept for 12 months from the last contact.

If an enquiry turns into a working relationship, the data needed for administrative, contractual or legal obligations may be kept longer, for as long as those obligations require.

06

What you can ask for

To see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive it as a file. Use the contact form on this site and you get an answer within one month, as the GDPR requires.

07

Cookies and third parties

This site sets no cookies — neither profiling nor technical — and uses no third party analytics. The form sets none either.

The typefaces are hosted here too, so browsing the site opens no connection to anyone else. Only what is described above still applies: when you send the form, the message is delivered through Andrea's Google Workspace mailbox.

If cookies or analytics are ever added, a consent banner will appear and this section will be updated.
