A senior, independent diagnosis of your Meta Ads account, to understand what is limiting performance and define a clear, prioritised action plan.
When you need one.
Budget goes up and return goes down
More spend no longer brings proportionate results, and the internal hypotheses have run out. It is the most common situation, and it almost never has a single cause.
You want a second read
Someone already runs the account and you want an independent view on the direction, not a replacement.
You are about to raise the budget
Before doubling spend it is worth knowing whether the current setup carries double, and at what cost per result.
You are deciding whether to bring it in house
You want to know what it actually takes, in skills and hours, before hiring or appointing anyone.
What I look at.
Account structure
Campaign types, ad sets, objectives, segmentation and how spend is distributed, to see whether the structure supports the funnel and the learning or whether it is producing fragmentation, overlap and wasted budget.
Budget & performance
How budget is distributed across campaigns, audiences and creative, read against CPA, ROAS, trends and performance gaps, to see where efficiency is being produced and where spend is returning less.
Audience & delivery
Audiences, overlap, frequency, saturation, exclusions and how delivery is distributed, to see whether the limit comes from targeting, from the size of the audience, or from the way Meta is spending.
Creative & testing
Which assets, angles and formats are running, how they are spread across ad sets and what signals they are producing. Frequency, saturation and test method, to see whether the creative is still generating learning or the system needs new input.
Placements & bidding
Placements, bid strategies and the main delivery settings, to check the configuration is coherent with the volume, the objectives and the history of the account, and whether any restriction is limiting distribution or performance.
Tracking signals available in Meta
The signals visible in Ads Manager and Events Manager, to surface anomalies that can affect how performance reads and optimises. The analysis stays within what is observable in the Meta ecosystem and does not extend to the technical review of site-side integrations.
What you get.
The diagnosis
What is limiting performance, in order of estimated impact, with the reasoning that produced that order.
The priorities
What to tackle first and what can wait, with the thinking behind both.
The roadmap
Which interventions and tests make the most sense as next steps, in the order they should happen.
A 60 minute call
To go through the analysis, explain the recommendations and talk through the next steps together.
Frequently asked questions about the audit.
Cost, timing, access, the opening call and what happens after the analysis.
What does a Meta Ads audit cost?
The audit is a paid service and there is no list price: it depends on the complexity of the account and the scope of the analysis. The cost is set case by case and agreed before we start.
How long does the audit take?
Usually between 24 and 72 hours, counted from the point where I have the access and the information I need. A more complex account can move that window, and if I expect it to, I say so before starting.
What access do you need?
View only access to the Business Manager or to the account in Ads Manager. I do not need permission to change campaigns, budgets or settings: during the audit the account is read, not altered.
Is there a call before the audit starts?
Always. Before I open the account we talk through the business, what you are seeing, the objectives and the priorities. That conversation decides where the analysis concentrates: the audit starts from what you need to understand, not from a checklist applied to every account.
What do I receive at the end of the audit?
A structured document covering the analysis of the account, the issues found, the opportunities worth taking and an action plan with the interventions in priority order. We go through it together in the closing call, where I explain the recommendations and answer questions.
Can you implement the recommendations as well?
The audit is a standalone service and the standard delivery ends with the analysis and the action plan. If we both think it makes sense afterwards, the implementation can continue as ongoing management of the channel.
